Kiwanis Club of Greater Merced was started by our founding members in 1956. One year later, Kiddieland was opened to provide a safe and friendly environment for the community’s children to enjoy an amusement park setting at an affordable cost.

Today, Kiddieland has 6 rides and a snack shack. Our rides include the famous Train that runs through Applegate Park, the Go-Gator Roller Coaster, the Merry-Go-Round Carousel, the Helicopter ride, the Rocket Ship ride, and the Car ride. Kiwanis Kiddieland is open weekends 1 pm – 5 pm from March through October each year.
